Students from all academic areas received an introduction to practical health innovation tools and competed in teams to tackle real-life health challenges posed by EIT Health, local organisations, private corporations or start-ups.

iDays UPV 2021 took place in an online format using a gamified platform that turns the hackathon into an exciting adventure.

There was no cost for participants, it was completely free of charge.

i-Days UPV 2021 was on 5-6 November of that year.

The i-Days were open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students interested in health innovation and entrepreneurship as well as graduates. No prerequisites or experience in innovation, entrepreneurship or healthcare was required.

During the day, there was access to experts in different areas. We were able to meet and carry out interviews to validate ideas at a technical and state-of-the-art level.

The winning team of the Innovation Days UPV 2021 participated in the Winner’s Event, a European event where he competed with the winners from each of the iDays 2021 across Europe, receiving training in different areas and with the possibility of winning fantastic prizes:

1st prize: Trip for the team to the EIT Health Summit 2022 in May held in Stockholm (Sweden) + EIT Health mentoring to accelerate their draft.

2nd prize: Travel to one of the EIT Health alumni events 2022 in Europe + EIT Health mentoring to accelerate their project.

3rd prize: Microsoft for Startups “starters pack” + EIT mentoring Health to speed up their project.
